On Wednesday I posted my 100th blog post. I can't believe it. I am so thankful to everyone who has taken the time to follow my blog, to leave comments and to lend support. I hope that you have found at least one or two of those 100 posts useful!!

We made some lovey hyacinth flowers to go home with our Mother's Day writing. One student kept asking me if I was sure they weren't lupins. They turned out pretty cute. When I opened my bucket filler notes at the end of the day one of my students said I was really smart for coming up with the idea - only it was Pinterest (of course)! I was also happy since all you need is paper! 8.5 x 11 green rolled for the stem. Colour paper cut in 4 pieces for each flower - easy peesy!

Only after I made my sample I was looking at it and I thought it actually looked like a toilet brush - and so all I could think was we were giving the moms a bouquet of toilet brushes!!

This is my daughters clock. When I was putting her to bed she explained how she knows what time it is. You add one minute to the minutes and 7 hours to the hours and presto - that's the time. Our power went out during the ice storm in APRIL and she hasn't bothered to fix her clock - she just does the math - does this mean she is lazy or a hard worker?!?

My daughters gave me Mother's Day gifts immediately upon my arrival home - they can never wait and it is official - I am the #1 Mom - have the travel mug to prove it (yes more painted pottery!!!)
Have a great weekend!!
The clock math cracked me up!!! I say hard worker. :)
