Goals Charts and a Great Giveaway!!

Well it is finally here, the last day of my (and maybe yours too) holiday! But there is a reason to cheer and that is the amazing giveaway being hosted by two of my best blogging friends. Joanne at Head Over Heels for Teaching and Holly at the Fourth Grade Flipper are both celebrating 1000 Followers.

You can enter EVERY day to win a $50 Amazon gift card and every day there are different prizes from different bloggers!! These ladies are truly amazing with the ideas they share and the linky parties they host, their generosity, their support - LOVE them!!

Today, two of the prizes up for grabs are from me. The first is a set of Poetry Posters. Here is a sampling of the posters and a not so great picture of them in action in my classroom last year (sorry we do poetry in April - they honestly look fabulous - it is just my old camera!)

The other item you can win is my Reading and Writing Goals Bundle. I love these because they are editable. Whenever I start a new unit I take out the goal that goes with the unit and then I use the editable pages to make a more specific list for my students to go with the overall goal. I display the goal on a bulletin board with anchor charts etc. while we are working on it and then add it to the overall chart after we finish the unit so that it is a constant reminder to students and a good reference when we review skills. You could also use them with clothespins with student names to differentiate what skills they are working on. Here they are in my classroom and the ones that I was prepping yesterday for our upcoming units.

So be sure to head over to Joanne's or Holly's to check out all the prizes you can win!!
